What might art be?

Art is a transformation.

Through the creative act, something that is already
there is transformed, brought into a pure new state of being. The
spiritual fire transforms matter into something new.

So the artist has
the task of transforming what is already there. It is fundamentally
irrelevant whether someone sees this work or not. When it is seen, the
viewer can further participate in this process simply by engaging with
what he is seeing - this in turn amplifies the transformation process,
thereby it makes both a creators.

One has to penetrate, I want to touch BEING. Ultimately, of course, it can only ever be an approximation.
